Another release on Manikin Records, a label which has released some fine works of late. Most of the tracks here weigh in at around the ten minute mark, and the opener 'Electrone' is a lively affair with more than a hint of Kraftwerk touches.

'Blue Crossroads' builds steadily from simply sequenced beginnings and imparts a confident air. 'Alone in Central Park' again uses a sequence backbone and develops plenty of detail and variation. 'Between Blue and Green' is a classic slab of modern EM, with top notch sequencing and melodic synth pads. The atmospheric 'Divers Paradise' plays the aquatic card well, characterised by deep resonating bass, and 'Five Seasons' maintains the rhythmic stance with another example of electronic pattern painting. 'Déjà Vu' pumps up the party with a 90's beat set against synth detail and vocoder voice, leaving 'Automatic Bitmap' to close in brooding fashion.

This is another example of EM taking references from 90's ambient. 'Script' leans more towards chill-out than dance, and on this form F&K should prove to be popular. (GG)
