Think Floyd
Arnold Lane / Bike
This is effectively a promo single which they are also selling on their tour. As far as I know we are currently the only outlet stocking it which is a pity because it is a real corker. Anybody who enjoyed Think Floyd’s debut album should not be without this. The four track CD single is a homage to Syd Barrett with fairly close covers of the classics ‘Arnold Lane’ and ‘Bike’. If you liked the originals you are bound to go a bundle on both these. The vocals are particularly splendid. But that is not all, they also include a new track called ‘Make you Mine’, which is an absolutely fantastic ‘Wish You Were Here’ period inspired track.

And there’s more! The fourth number is a different version of one of the most popular tracks from the ‘Hope’ album called ‘Home Again’. If you haven't had chance to see Think Floyd play live during their current tour (publicised in magazine 31) you aren’t too late as they still have a few gigs left. At one of their gigs they even had a bunch of school kids on stage with them singing ‘Another Brick In The Wall’, amazing!

If you are into Pink Floyd and haven’t tried this band yet you are missing a real treat. They are much more than your typical tribute band. (DL)
