As well as the usual tickets for concerts, where you actually turn up for the gig (our preferred option), we are also offering VIRTUAL tickets for those concerts where the artists give their permission for us to do so. These are to help those who would like to have heard the gig but because of distance to travel couldn't attend. Within about four days of the gig we would upload the concert to a secret part of the web page. Everyone who had purchased a Virtual Ticket would be sent the address of this part of the web page by email and for a couple of days could download the AUDIO (192K MP3) of the concert. Virtual Tickets are £9.95 for people not attending the concert and £4.95 for those people who also buy a real ticket. Half of this extra revenue (after tax and card charges) would go to the band, the other half would go to SMD to help make up some of the shortfall from the real ticket sales revenue. Virtual Tickets will only be available for purchase BEFORE the concert. They are sold on the condition that the download is used just for your personal use and not distributed to anyone else (even best friend) in any format whatsoever. If we find out that this is happening the virtual ticket facility will be withdrawn. The Copyright of all the material from the concerts promoted by Synth Music Direct and the downloads we make available remains with the artists. Back to top |

We had a very healthy run of concerts at Jodrell Bank for many years (21 events in all!), however redevelopment at the visitor centre meant we had to look for a new venue for 2003. We had a great time there, and who knows what the future may bring? We'd just like to take his opportunity to thank the staff at Jodrell bank for all their help and support. Jodrell Bank is one of the largest radio telescopes in the world. It is situated in the Cheshire countryside, and the concerts took place in the adjoining Planetarium. Have a look at the pictures above to get an idea of the full visual show which featured the Planetarium starfield, video and slide projection, computer controlled light show and lasers. Back to top |

After Jodrell Bank we moved to the NSC and put on 24 events in all featuring some of the most exciting Electronic Music bands. We'd just like to take his opportunity to thank the staff at the NSC for all their help and support. The National Space Centre is situated in Leicester, and the concerts took place in the state-of-the-art planetarium which provided visuals such as full dome projection, lasers and lights as well as the starfield. Pictures were taken at many of the concerts and can be viewed above. Back to top |

We had a grand total of one event at the Thinktank Planetarium in Birmingham. As far as the show went it was a resounding success, with Joint Intelligence Committee playing a superb set and the accompanying visuals were stunning. Unfortunately the last-minute administrative red tape demanded by the venue proved completely impractical for any further events to take place there.Back to top |
