Crown Invisible
Crown Invisible II
Firstly, apology time. In the last review I erroneously named the band Cursor Club. CC is in fact the label. The band is called Crown Invisible, and here we have the second of their CD singles. The first track is ‘V13’ and is a bright and, dare I say it, beautiful rendition of their one of their, by now, lushly familiar main themes. It’s tempting to think “enough is enough”, but such is the quality here I could listen to this all night long.

I did another disservice to Crown Invisible last time by suggesting only a single theme was on show. There are actually several base melodies utilised though the approach merges them all into a seamless delight. ‘V12’ offsets a deliciously loose rhythm against a sumptuous symphonic mesh providing expansive qualities of impressive proportions. Finally ‘V14’ weaves another hypnotic Electronic spell with the coolest edge.

Individually numbered, and again immaculately packaged, these Crown Invisible releases form a hugely attractive package in both the tactile and musical sense. More please. (GG)
