Think Floyd
Hope
If, like me, you are a bit of a Pink Floyd / Roger Waters nut then this album is a real must. Rather than hide their influences the band openly wear them on their sleeves. The name, artwork, vocals and in fact their entire musical style just screams Floyd. All the pieces here are original compositions and the quality is simply stunning. If I had bought this as the new Pink Floyd album I really would not have been disappointed. The stand out tracks are ‘Brain Rape’, ‘The Circle’ and ‘Home Again’ but the quality is top notch throughout. Think Floyd gig regularly and I hope to see them soon as I can just imagine that they would be awesome live. Some people might think that they take hero worship a bit too far and if it was just copyist stuff I would agree - but if the music is this good I really couldn’t give a monkeys how heavily influenced the band is.
