The track is split into six parts and we begin with the longest at eighteen minutes. Metallic drones shimmer through the ether. Things become spookier and spookier as we continue on our cosmic trip. Strange sounds can be heard, like lost souls floating through space, occasionally their strange utterances being almost recognisable. The pads deepen and things become increasingly sinister, like some of the more eerie parts off TD's 'Atem' or 'Zeit'. It's fantastically atmospheric stuff.

As we get into the Second Part the pads fill out and become somewhat more symphonic but the wailing also increases in intensity. After a couple of minutes the sonic backing becomes even more intense and dramatic but the spectres depart- very impressive stuff. A delicate melody starts up low in the mix, disappearing entirely then re-emerging from time to time. It's all rather beautiful but then in the seventh minute the mood subtly changes and things become more mournful. The backing pads swell again a minute later, the lead line just being heard enough to pull at the heartstrings. A much more strident lead strikes up just a minute before we enter the Third Part then dies away as things change dramatically.

Little cosmic bleeps and effects are looped to form quite a syncopated yet strangely melodic pulsating brew. Its all fiendishly complicated and there is some excellent stereo separation so it is brilliant listened to with earphones even though trying to concentrate on every fast little bleep will fuddle the brain so just let yourself go with the flow. Everything instantly ceases in the fourth minute and we are left with some soft but deep breathing. The bleeps start to form again but this time it's all so much slower. What a fascinating piece of music! A more conventional rhythm is added contrasting with the rather weirder backing. It then departs and all is change again as we are left with windy pads and half heard vocals- so much is being packed into a short period of time and its all excellent stuff. The looped beats come back once again, this time rather mid paced finishing as we enter the next section. Immediately an impressive deep sequence comes in and fairly storms along. A bass rhythm is added and things become even more exciting! A lovely very tuneful lead line joins it and I found myself playing air keyboard and tapping my feet like a crazy thing. Absolutely fantastic!

The Fifth Part starts with some seriously dark rumbles then echoed unintelligible muffled talking- sounds a bit like a troll with a headache. The backing rumbles become even deeper in the third minute, the voice departing then returning. A virtual electric guitar line then comes in sort of meandering above the drones adding to the tremendous depth of frequencies already been covered. The Final Section is extremely short but ends things in a similar haunting way to how we started. (DL)

De track is opgesplitst in zes stukken en we beginnen met de langste van 18 minuten. Metaalachtige drones schellen door de ether. Het wordt spookachtiger naarmate we onze kosmische trip verder zetten. Er worden vreemde klanken gehoord, als verloren zielen die door de ruimte zweven, af en toe zijn hun vreemde uitlatingen bijna herkenbaar. De paden worden dieper en het wordt hoogst sinister, zoals de meer akelige stukken van TD op 'Atem' en 'Zeit'. Dit is fantastische atmosferische muziek. Bij het tweede gedeelte worden de tapijtjes wat symfonischer maar ook het gehuil wordt intenser en zelfs dramatisch - heel indrukwekkend. Laag in de mix start er een gevoelige melodie die af en toe verdwijnt.

Allemaal heel mooi maar in de zevende minuut verandert de stemming en wordt het treurig. Dan zwellen de tapijten terug aan en wordt de solo nog net gehoord, net genoeg om je hartsnaren te raken. Een meer opdringerige solo komt er dan aan net vooraleer we overgaan naar deel drie. De stemming verandert dramatisch. Bliepjes en andere kosmische effecten worden geloopt en vormen zo een syncopatisch maar vreemd brouwsel. Dit is vrij complex en er is zeker genoeg stereoscheiding, uitstekend dus om met een hoofdtelefoon te beluisteren. Als je je wilt concentreren om elke bliep apart te kunnen beluisteren, vergt dit een serieuze inspanning, laat je daarom dus rustig opgaan in het geheel. In de vierde minuut verdwijnt dit alles en blijven we achter in een zachte diepe ademhaling. De bliepjes vormen zich terug maar deze keer veel langzamer, dit is een fascinerend stuk muziek! Er komt een vrij conventioneel ritme bij in compleet contrast met de vreemde achtergrond.
