Synth Music Direct welcomes promotional music sent from Musicians (or labels and distributors). Indeed we get about 1000 a year. It does not matter if it is a conventional CD or home produced CDR.

They should be sent to our usual address. That is:

Synth Music Direct
PO Box 1557
Doncaster
DN10 4NX
England

We are however very choosy and tend to only accept about twelve new titles for sale through our web site a month, so please do not be upset if we reject it. It could very well be a superb CD, just not the sort of thing we think our customer base would go for. Even if this is the case however we will suggest other places to send your music to if we think it is appropriate.

So that you don't waste money on sending us a CD that would obviously be unsuitable it would be best to listen to some of the sound samples on our web page first so that you will get some idea as to the sort of music we sell.

If you do send us a CD (which will be unreturnable) it is essential that you email synthmusicdirect@aol.com a couple of weeks later to get an opinion from us.

Please just send the CD with contact information / Discography and Label (or distributor details) if appropriate.

Do not include information such as other reviews / chart listings / motivation behind the music etc. We have a very different customer base to most other companies (even other Electronic Music Dealers) so other people's opinions don't really come into it. We know our customer base and all that really counts is if we think we can sell the music to them.

The life of a Musician is not an easy one and it can be a very nervous business sending off your works. We do appreciate it and are well aware that we wouldn't have a business without you. Even if we are not going to stock your music we will not be rude, we will respect you as a musician and wish you good fortune elsewhere. If this happens please try and respect our decision.

You never know though, your work could well be one of those twelve new albums a month we do stock.

Thanks for reading this,

David Law / Synth Music Direct
