'Unknown Excursion' is an absolute dead ringer for 'Dr Destructo' as a rhythm really kicks and cranks up the excitement level. 'Orientalic Excursion' takes over with excellent and quite complex shimmering sequences mixing with a repeated melodic motif and rhythmic flourishes. An Eastern sounding lead line weaves its magic above the pulsations. Another cracker. A further stonking sequence gets 'Through the Spheric Timegate' underway. A sublime melody joins it, drums adding that extra oomph which become even more powerful as we progress. 'Stratospheric Impression' with its tinkling loops, loping rhythms and wordless vocal colouring is a completely different kettle of fish. It's hypnotic and mesmerising, sometimes cleverly stripping down to rhythm and vocal effects which give something of a spiritual feel. Absolutely wonderful. 'Living Illusion' might be a short track but is as melodic as anything on the album building in rhythmic intensity until it fades out all to quickly.

'Twilight Situation' is a rather moody number which quietens things down, giving us a breather. A jaunty rhythm picks up the pace a little for 'Timegate through Underwater Worlds', which takes us to 'Cosmic Lovescene' (who thinks of these titles?!). An effective undulating sequence is augmented by staccato lead line. The feel is more Schulzian at this point than TD and a cracking track it is too. I found my head nodding gently to the subtle rhythms and my hands drumming out time on the table. 'Confrontation' is a return to dark brooding 'Thief' territory as a bass pulse and slow mournful drum provide the base for a sinister melody. 'Dream-Surrender' is a short sequencer dominated number which bounces along very pleasantly taking us to the initially rather abstract 'Running Away', full of clanging effects and weirdness. Sequences and rhythms soon storm forward however and it isn't long before my foot is firmly down to the metal and we are hurtling down the motorway. Again I wished it could have gone on longer.

'Vision of a Timebridge' sounds like it could have come from 'Le Parc' as it is highly melodic but also full of joyous energy. Gentle guitar licks (I assume virtual) provide the main lead, adding a little extra colour to an already lovely track. 'Garden of Wonders' acts like a tranquil bridging piece to 'Awakening out of Dreams'. A percussive piano provides some dynamic over swirling pads then in comes a blistering rhythm / sequence combination quickly followed by electric guitar courtesy of Maxxess. It sours high into the air but also growls in the depths, fitting absolutely perfectly with the backing. Simply awesome! This is probably the best track on an already fantastic CD.
